Eritrea's Good Potential

During the 1990s, agriculture were slightly increased due to the ending of the war with a favorable weather, and a newly developed seed and fertilizer distribution system. As for the industry, manufactured items in 2002 such as beverages, processed foods, tobacco, leather, textiles, metal products, chemicals, printing, nonmetallic minerals, construction materials, salt, paper, and matches were need in the productivity so, the government sought privatization of these industries, and issued incentive for imports of foreign exchange and provisions for remittance of foreign exchange abroad.
